It was a crisp November day in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The groom and his groomsmen set out on the town for a hardy wedding day breakfast, while the bride and her girls made their way to Vanity Hair Salon where mimosas awaited their arrival. As they each took turns getting make-up applied and hair done, the bridesmaids filled the room with laughter exchanging stories about life, family, and love.
The bride was saved for last with artistically applied make-up and an elegant up-do.
After the last bit of hairspray was applied, the girls made their way to the Wentworth By The Sea to finish getting ready. The bride slipped into her long sleeve lace covered gown as her mother fastened each button on the delicate back.
Once ready, the brides father made his way into the room to see his little girl and be pinned with his boutonnière. A smile filled with pure love and joy covered his face at the sight of his daughter.
A few group shots were done before making our way to church where the bride and her father arrived in style in a classic Rolls Royce.
The ceremony was filled with a beautiful service, readings from loved ones, and even a song performed by the priest.
I do's were shared and a kiss sealed the deal as the lovely couple became Mr. and Mrs. The recessional lead the bride and groom to the Rolls Royce where they shared a toast to a life filled with love and happiness.
A few portraits were captured before heading back to the Wentworth where a party was soon to break out.
The reception was one that I will not soon forget. An ice sculpture of their beloved dogs kept shrimp cocktails cold for guests while a live band performed songs of the past and present. Toasts were made by family and loved ones, dances were shared, a gorgeous cake was cut, a memories were created that will last a lifetime.
Thank you very much to Steve and Haley McInerney for welcoming me into your lives to capture your big day! You are two of the kindest souls I have ever met and I am constantly humbled by your generosity. I wish you nothing but a life filled with love, happiness, and lots of dogs!
