Mystic Matrimony

On a beautiful September day in an otherwise chaotic year, a bride and her closest friends gathered at the Holiday Inn Express in scenic Mystic, Connecticut to prepare for the celebration of the decade. Decorations adorned the room as the girls sipped mimosas and put the finishing touches on their hair and makeup. Right next door, the guys were getting ready to suit up and head down to the limo.

The bride and her daughter shared a moment that truly showed just how special their bond is.

Before the day could really take off, the couple took a quiet moment to read letters they had written to each other about their love and life together. Even the brides daughter received a heartfelt letter from her soon to be step-dad. Happy tears and laughter filled each room as they all read their beautifully handwritten notes.

The couple and their wedding parties finished getting ready as time ticked closer to the rest of their lives together. Once the final spritz of hairspray was applied and all ties were in place, the party made their way to Latitude 41 where the bride had a first look with her father.

Each group then took turns getting their pre-ceremony portraits done, all while keeping the bride and groom from seeing each other before the big aisle walk reveal.

At last it was time for these two beautiful souls to tie the knot. Friends and family gathered at the breath taking seaside ceremony with the setting sun on the horizon. As the bride and her father made their way down the aisle, the grooms eyes beamed with joy.

After saying "I do's" and sealing the deal with a kiss, the newly weds made their way through cheering guests. Cocktail hour commenced as we made our way with the wedding party through a deserted Mystic Seaport for some more group portraits.

We also took some time to take portraits of the new Mr. & Mrs. Kotulsky. The love these two share with one another just radiates in their presence. These two are straight out of a magazine!

Back at the reception the couple had their first dance and speeches were made filling the room with laughs, smiles, and hugs.

The rest of the evening was filled with joy, delicious food, delectable donuts, and an abundance of dancing.

Thank you so much to Mr. & Mrs. Kotulsky for giving me the honor of capturing their special day. I wish you two nothing but a life filled with love and happiness!
