Reightler Ever After

Updated: Aug 24, 2021

It was a gorgeous day at the end of May when the Reightlers tied the knot. The day began with the girls getting ready in the bride's childhood home, reliving memories of the past as she prepared for the beginning of the rest of her life. Upon my arrival, the bridesmaids all gathered to watch as the bride made her first appearance in her Cinderella like ballgown. Tears filled the room and smiles were in abundance.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding is looking for the personal details that make each day so unique. A custom engraved box held the rings to be exchanged at the alter, while the bouquet was adorned with mementos of the brides late father.

This wonderful couple even took the time to write a special note on the bottom of their shoes for each to read as they were getting ready.

Before heading to the church to say her I do's, the bride and her bridesmaids posed for a few quick photos.

Once at the church, family was escorted down the aisle, performing a candle lighting ceremony at the alter. After the wedding party made their way in, the bride was ready for her grand entrance. The double doors were opened and a beaming Mrs-to-be made her way towards her adoring future husband. The love between these two was evident to all in attendance.

Songs were shared, rings and vows were exchanged, and the final piece of the candle lighting completed. The couple sealed the deal with a kiss followed by a group prayer for the newlyweds.

Mr. & Mrs. Reightler made their way down the aisle to words of love and congratulations from friends and family members alike.

After the ceremony, the entire wedding party made their way into Model A cars to head to the perfect location for photos.

Laughs were shared while we snapped photos of the wedding party and their family.

The bride and groom couldn't have asked for a more picturesque location in Canterbury. And isn't this ring bearer the cutest!

Once finished, we made our way to the big tent reception where friends and family waited anxiously.

Dinner was served by the amazing Black Dog Bar & Grille while the couple made their way around greeting guests and thanking them for attending their special day.

The bride and groom shared their first dance as husband and wife, followed by a special dance with the bride and her brother.

After their first dance, the newlyweds made their way over to a beautiful four tier cake wrapped in grapevine and live roses.

The night continued with live music, friends and family spending time together, and a sparkler exit to send the couple off on their honeymoon.

A very big thank you to Adelaide & Daniel for trusting me to capture your big day. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day in May to celebrate your marriage. I wish you a lifetime full of love, faith and happiness.
